The Journal of Educational Research and reviews (JERR) is an international peer-reviewed open access journal published monthly.


Content

All authors must declare they have read and agreed to the content of the submitted article and are responsible for the validity and originality of data contained therein.


Open access

The Journal of Educational Research and reviews have served the academic community since 2013 by giving authors the option to publish their work as Open Access which allows free distribution of and access to published articles without subscription charges or barriers. The author retains copyright of their work under the Creative Commons attribution licence, so all articles are made freely available to the widest audience possible.

Benefits are;

• Articles published are freely accessible to read, copy, distribute and use, thus maximizing the visibility of research publications provided the terms of the Open Access license below are followed.
• Publications are included in abstracting and indexing databases to make them easy to find and cite.
• Articles undergo peer review and are held to the highest scientific publishing standards.
• Publications are prepared with top quality from peer review to desk and copy editing to layout to personalized service from experienced publishing professionals.
• Author retains copyright.


License Agreement

At the point of submission of an article to the  Journal of Educational Research and reviews, the submitting/corresponding author is authorized by the co-authors to enter into these agreements therein that;

1. I (corresponding author), and on behalf of myself and my co-authors, that:

• the submitted article is original, and is not under consideration or officially published elsewhere and does not infringe any existing copyright or any other third party rights;

• I am/we are the sole author(s) of the article and have full authority to enter into this agreement and in granting rights to SWP Central are not in breach of any other obligation;

• the article contains nothing that is unlawful or which would, if published, constitute a breach of contract or of confidence or of commitment given to secrecy;

• I/we have taken due care to ensure the integrity of the article.

2. The article shall be licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution License 4.0. as an indication of agreement between the authors if accepted for publication; and under such license that provides the following summary contained therein;

You are free to:
• Share – copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format.
• Adapt – remix, transform, and build upon the material. 

Under the following terms:
• Attribution – You must give appropriate credit, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made. You may do so in any reasonable manner, but not in any way that suggests the licensor endorses you or your use.
• Non-commercial – You may not use this work for commercial purposes.
• No Derivatives – If you remix, transform, or build upon the material, you may not distribute the modified material. 

Notices:
• You do not have to comply with the license for elements of the material in the public domain or where your use is permitted by an applicable exception or limitation.
• No warranties are given. The license may not give you all of the permissions necessary for your intended use. For example, other rights such as publicity, privacy, or moral rights may limit how you use the material.


Article-processing charges

Article submission to Journal of Educational Research and reviews is free. However, open access publishing is not without costs, as JERR charges an article processing fee of $500 for each article accepted for publication.

Waivers are given to authors depending on the country. Authors who cannot meet up with the required journal charges should submit a discount/waiver request during the submission of their article. See http://sciencewebpublishing.net/fees.htm for more details.


Types of Papers

The Journal of Educational Research and reviews considers the following types of articles:

Standard full-length paper: These should describe new and carefully confirmed findings including experimental procedures. A paper of this nature should contain the Abstract, Key words, Abbreviations, Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion (or Results and Discussion), Acknowledgements, References, Tables, and Legends to figures. A typical standard paper contains 15–25 manuscript pages (without figures).

Reviews or minireview: This should give an overview of a topical field of interest for a wide spectrum of readers and should contain the abstract, topical sections and subsections, and references. Minireviews should be concise and no longer than 12-18 manuscript pages.

Short Communication: It must not exceed 6-12 manuscript pages (without figures) and must contain the Abstract, Key words, Abbreviations, the core of the paper, Acknowledgements, References, Tables, and Legends to figures. It should report a completed work but not preliminary findings.
